Don Weinberger, PharmD, PMSP

Don Weinberger, PharmD, PMSP, is an Associate Editor at TRC Healthcare. Before attending pharmacy school, he was a certified pharmacy technician for 7+ years, staffing in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific in 2012. Prior to joining TRC in 2015, Don was an inpatient pharmacist within the VA healthcare system, specializing in sterile compounding, anticoagulation, chemotherapy, and pain management. In addition, Don was an instructor for pharmacy technician students. Don also continues to work in an outpatient pharmacy, dispensing medication orders and providing immunizations. Don’s professional interests include pharmacist and pharmacy technician education, pharmacy practice/law, pain management, and sterile/nonsterile compounding.

Stephen Small, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, BCCCP, CNSC

Stephen Small, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, BCCCP, CNSC is an Assistant Editor at TRC Healthcare. He earned his PharmD degree from Butler University in 2015. He then completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at Denver Health Medical Center in Colorado.  Before joining the TRC Healthcare team in 2024, Steve was a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at Denver Health for 5 years overseeing its neonatal, pediatric, and obstetric services. He also currently serves as a pharmacist in the National Disaster Medical System and continues his practice as a pediatric pharmacist at University of Iowa Health Care in Iowa City. Steve's professional interests outside of pediatrics and obstetrics include parenteral nutrition, emergency preparedness, and healthcare multimedia.

Gina Corley, PharmD

Gina Corley, PharmD, is an Assistant Editor at TRC Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University in 2013. Before joining the TRC team in 2024, Gina was an inpatient operations floater pharmacist at WVU Medicine’s J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Her staffing positions included central pharmacy operations, IV room/sterile products, peri-op/OR, psychiatry, and cancer center. Additionally, Gina worked at CVS Health as a retail pharmacist for 6 years and spent 2 years as pharmacist-in-charge. Gina’s professional interests outside of inpatient operations include women’s health, mentoring residents, and developing professional networking relationships with other providers.

Michael A. Deaney, PharmD, AAHIVP

Michael A. Deaney, PharmD, AAHIVP, is an infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at Children's Hospital Colorado. He supports the hospital's inpatient antimicrobial stewardship program, infectious disease consult services, and outpatient maternal/pediatric HIV clinic. Dr. Deaney earned his PharmD from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and completed two years of residency at Denver Health Medical Center, where he still practices PRN. His professional interests include pediatric infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, HIV/AIDS care, and quality improvement.

Sara Klockars, PharmD, BCPS

Sara Klockars, PharmD, BCPS, is an Associate Editor at TRC Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and completed a two year clinical pharmacy residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to coming to TRC in 2019, Sara was a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Kaiser Permanente Colorado. She spent 12 years as part of the primary care team and built a practice in dermatology including 7 years as a dermatology liaison. She ultimately helped establish a dedicated dermatology role and collaborated with over 30 dermatology providers to optimize medication management and develop regional guidelines and EHR decision support tools for various conditions, including acne. In addition to dermatology, Sara’s professional interests include pharmacist and prescriber education, promoting evidence-based, cost-effective care, and other specialty pharmacy areas (rheumatology, gastroenterology, etc).
