Leslie Gingo, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Gingo is a clinical oncology pharmacy specialist at the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Cancer Institute of Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. After earning her PharmD from the University of Toledo in 2003, she completed residency training at the Medical Center of Aurora in Colorado. She then practiced as an outpatient oncology pharmacist at the University of Colorado Hospital until being selected to design and implement clinical pharmacy services in the emergency department. Dr. Gingo has held several clinical pharmacist positions in cardiology, acute care/emergency medicine, oncology, and she also worked as an assistant editor for Pharmacist’s Letter. In 2019, Dr. Gingo was appointed Assistant Professor of Pharmacy & Therapeutics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and a clinical oncology pharmacist at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. She taught and facilitated the oncology course and served as a preceptor and research mentor.
